Random Acts of Art
The Village of Fairport Public Arts Committee is pleased to announce a competition for temporary art work to be installed in various places throughout the Village of Fairport, providing the public with a temporary glimpse into the imagination of the Artist(s) and enlivening the public space.
What is 'Random Acts of Art'?
An opportunity for experimental, ad-hoc, or temporary works of art to be displayed in the Village of Fairport. The selection committee will be looking for proposals that are engaging, interactive, playful, and/or thought-provoking.
What is the budget?
Qualifying Artist(s) will be granted funding to offset their proposed project costs. A total of $1,500 has been allocated to this competition. Funds may be allocated to a single compelling proposal or distributed among several artists.
